Our approach
Better tools for the people others count on.
People working in public safety rely on their equipment to do demanding work. Monerus looks for ways that technology can give them greater capability, starting with products agencies already know and trust.
We pair curiosity about what technology could make possible with close attention to what officers and operators need from it.
Why we started with the lightbar.
Agencies came to us with interest in greater camera capability around their vehicles. We saw an opportunity in the lightbar, equipment that already had an essential place on the vehicle.
We wanted to extend its usefulness beyond warning lights by bringing camera equipment into the same assembly. That thinking shaped IRIS and reflects how we approach innovation: find a useful possibility in established technology, then connect it to a task people in the field need to carry out.
Purpose and mission
Our purpose
To better equip the people others rely on.
Our mission
Give public safety teams greater capability through technology that fits the way they work.
What we believe
Four convictions guide what we build.
- 01
The people others rely on deserve better tools.
The purpose of our work is to help the people carrying responsibility in the field. Their tasks, attention and experience belong at the center of the design.
- 02
Progress should build on what people already trust.
Established equipment can provide a foundation for further innovation. We look for new possibilities while respecting the choices agencies have already made.
- 03
Innovation earns its value by solving a real problem.
An interesting idea becomes useful when it helps someone do something that matters. That connection guides the possibilities we pursue.
- 04
Technology should support the work without becoming more work.
New capability deserves careful consideration of what it asks from the people using and supporting it. Controls, attention and practical use matter alongside technical function.

Find the possibility. Understand the need. Develop the integration.
Sometimes the starting point is a problem an agency is trying to solve. Sometimes it is a possibility we notice in existing technology. We bring those perspectives together to understand what an idea could enable and what it would require in practice.
IRIS applies that thinking to cameras and warning lighting. Our wider work includes police bike kits, Arges Auto-Track spotlight integration and UGV development.
