How it started
A new role for the lightbar.
Agencies came to us with interest in greater camera capability around their vehicles. We saw an opportunity in equipment they already relied on: the lightbar.
It already had an essential place on the vehicle. We wanted to make it useful in more ways, bringing cameras into the same assembly and connecting their views to the recording and live-access capabilities of trusted camera platforms. That thinking shaped IRIS.
The aim is greater awareness for the people in the field, more context around an incident and a more useful role for equipment the agency already needs.
